Why ‘Eureka’?

‘Eureka’ comes from the Ancient Greek word εὕρηκα meaning ‘I have found (it)’. The exclamation is famously attributed to ancient Greek scholar Archimedes who after stepping into a bath and noticing the water level rise – thereby discovering the Archimedes’ principle – excitedly ran down the streets naked proclaiming ‘Eureka!’.
